thank. you. gay subtext is all well and good, but it’s been one of the most consistently frustrating things for me as a queer lady. because at the end of the day, you know it’s just stretching what’s there to fit your fantasies. the first time i saw a gay movie (imagine me & you) it literally BLEW MY MIND. it was insane. i like my fair share of subtextual couples, but when are they going to move out of subtext?this.gif
